Student-Led Conferences

What are Student Led Conferences?

The purpose of a student-led conference (SLC) is to provide scholars with the opportunity to share their college readiness with their families. College readiness refers to the set of skills, behaviors, and knowledge a scholar should have before enrollment in their first year of college. SLCs are periodic opportunities for scholars to set and reflect on their current progress, growth and next steps. SLCs are mandatory for all YECA campus scholars and families.

Student-led conferences are held virtually three times a year at YECA. YECA Campus students do not attend school on conference days.
