Office of Admissions
Students who live in District 28 can submit an application to apply to YECA by the end of the 5th grade. There are well over 400 applicants per year. Approximately 80 new students are chosen through a lottery system. Please see your child’s school guidance counselor for more information about how to apply.
Students wishing to attend YECA for High School must apply through the High School admissions process. You can visit the DOE website for information about the admissions process.
Students applying for admission to YECA should be of good character and in good academic standing with a desire to attend college.
Additionally, parents should be committed and willing to partner with YECA to ensure your child’s collegial success.
